Before you begin
Setting up your shop goes much faster if you have a few things ready first. Most people who get stuck are not stuck on Biponix — they stop halfway to go and find a photo, or to check their own phone number.
So spend a few minutes collecting the things below. None of it has to be perfect, and you can change all of it later.
Your business details
- The name of your shop, as customers should see it.
- Your legal or official name, if it is different. This is the one that appears on receipts and invoices.
- Your address, including city and postal code.
- A phone number and an email address customers can reach you on.
How your shop should look
- Your logo in two shapes: a wide one for the top of your shop, and a small square one. Bring whichever you have.
- Two main colours. Biponix works out the other shades from those. The colours on your Facebook page or your packaging are a good place to start.
How you will deliver
You will make a short list of delivery choices, and customers pick one when they order. Each choice is just a name and a price — "Inside Dhaka", "Outside Dhaka", or a free one.
So think about what you want to offer, and what each should cost. A rough idea is enough for now.
Where you want to be found
If you already sell or talk to customers somewhere else, have those links ready — your WhatsApp number, Facebook page, Instagram, and so on. These can be shown on your storefront so customers can reach you the way they already do.
Ways to get paid
You do not need anything ready for this yet. Payment methods are added one at a time, and which ones you can use depends on your store. The Payments page later in this guide shows you how.
One last thing
If you are missing something on this list, start anyway. An empty field is not a mistake, and nothing here has to be finished before you can move on to the next step.
What next
When you have gathered what you can, begin with Store details.
