Search engine listing

Products, categories, collections and pages all have a Search engine listing card on their edit screen. It controls how the item looks when it shows up in a search engine like Google.

The preview

At the top, a live preview shows roughly what a search result will look like: the page's web address, its title in blue, and its description below. It updates as you type.

Page title and meta description

Press the pencil button to open the form.

• Page title — up to 70 characters. This is the title in search results.
• Meta description — up to 160 characters. The line shown under the title in search results.

Both show a live character count, so you can see how much room you have left.

URL and handle

This is the slug for what you are adding or editing. Biponix checks as you type whether it is available, showing Checking availability..., Available, or Not available. If it is taken, Biponix shows a suggestion that you can use instead.
