SEO
Open Settings, then SEO. SEO is short for search engine optimisation. Its job is to help shoppers find you through Google and other search engines.

Search engine verification
- Google site verification — the code Google gives you to confirm you own the shop.
- Bing site verification — the code Bing gives you to confirm you own the shop.
Social media
- Twitter/X handle — links your shop to your Twitter/X account, used when a page is shared.
- Facebook App ID — links your shop to your Facebook app, used when a page is shared.
Brand & defaults
- Brand name — the brand name shown for your products in search results. Your shop name is shown if you leave this empty.
- Default page title — the title search engines show for a page that does not have its own.
- Default meta description — the short description search engines show under the title, for a page that does not have its own.
- Default Open Graph image URL — the picture shown when a page is shared on social media, if it does not have its own.
Indexing
The Block search engine indexing switch tells search engines not to index your shop — useful while you are still getting your store ready, or if you want to keep it private.
Saving
Nothing changes until you press Save, at the top right of the page. Discard puts everything back.
